This past Friday the NY Time ran an article “More Pastors Embrace Talk of Mental Ills.” It starts with a case study from the care offered by a rural North Carolina pastor to those in his community and then references the thoughts of many Christian leaders on the subject of mental illness.
The article references the Mental Health Advisory Group of the Southern Baptist Convention led by Dr. Frank Page, of which I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part.
For those seeking additional resources in this area, here are several we have produced at Summit in the last year.
